What is My Auditions, My Submissions?
My Auditions is one of the tools on our website. As a Gold Member, you can use "My Auditions" to keep up to date on all of your upcoming auditions. It is also used to view audition notices for open calls. Open audition notices will be indicated. If no address, phone number, or instruction for response are provided, then you do not need to do anything. The casting director or photographer will call you when they wish to see you or to schedule your audition. Next to each audition listed on "My Submissions" page that you have submitted, you will see the heading "Audition Notice". This is to let you know that your profile & image, was submitted and to inform you the type of audition notice.
Click on the word "Project Name" and you will view all the project information available to you including the name and type of project, union status, rate and all roles that are being cast. When applicable, you'll also get audition dates, shoot dates, location, and production company information. There are three different types of auditions: 1) Request Audition 2) Self-Response Notification 3) Open Call
1) Request Audition: Your profile is submitted to a casting director for consideration. If they are interested in calling you for an audition, they will contact us, requesting you. From there, we will contact you.
2) Self-Response Notification: When you click on "Project Name" you will get information about a project in the casting process. In this case, you will receive an email address or phone number to contact the casting office directly, should you be interested in the project. This will be clearly stated on the casting notice.
3) Open Call: An address and time will be provided for you to attend the audition. You may participate in the audition by showing up at the appropriate place and time. Each time our team of in-house booking and submission representatives submit you to a casting, it appears automatically on your casting calendar. This allows you to constantly monitor your profile performance in real-time. You can start searching for auditions and submit your profile now by clicking the attached link: Search Auditions.
To be automatically matched with a casting that matches your profile details information, make sure that your profile contains all your information. Always keep your casting preferences updated.
